Signal Bar Limit
Limits Trades based on Signal Bar conditions
NOTE: These options only work on entries where the signal entry condition is immediately to the left of the current bar (bar close entry).
This is the default option for most auto entries.
Will not work with Scan Current Bar / Bars Ago Entry 0 type entries.
This option determines if your trade is valid based on how the signal bar closes. It is not an entry signal by itself but rather an extra codnition required for your entry condition to take a trade.
- Long Up / Short Dn : Allows Long Trades if the bar closed up and Short Trades if the bar closed down
- Long Dn / Short Up: Allows Long Trades if the bar closed down and Short Trades if the bar closed up
Having both checked is default and will allow trades with your entry signal, regardless of how that bar closes.
Unselecting Long Dn / Short Up will ONLY allow trades that close in the same direction as your entry.
These options are used to define the Min/Max size the signal bar must be before it allows a trade to take place.
- Bar Size: Looks at the distance between the High and Low of the signal bar in Ticks. Only allows trades that are within the set limit.
- ATR Size: Looks at the ATR of the signal bar. Only allows trades if the ATR is within that range.
- See the Trade Status box for info on the Bar / ATR size.
