PredatorX ORB Guide
Configure the time window, number of sessions, time zone, and how the range is calculated. Everything in the indicator is built around what you define here.
1: single opening range. 2: two separate ORBs (e.g. NY + London). 3: three separate ORBs (e.g. NY + London + Asia). Each OR has its own High/Low/Mid lines and signal detection. Signals from all ORs share the same output plots.
Start time for the OR1 accumulation window. Interpreted via the Time Zone setting.
End time for the OR1 accumulation window. The difference between Start and End sets the ORB length (5/15/30 min etc.).
End at Next OR Session: reset when any other OR starts.
The time zone used to interpret all OR start/end times. Most US futures traders use Eastern Standard Time or Local. If running multiple sessions, pick one anchor time zone and convert each session's times to it.
Reminder: ensure your PC clock and NinjaTrader clock match for accurate session timing.
Calculate_ORB_HighLow: uses the highest High and lowest Low within the range window (default).
The 5 entry signal types, the global Signal Mode, and the range/reset filters. Each entry style outputs its own plot — use AllSelectedSignals as a universal plot that fires for any enabled signal.
ConfirmedCandleClose: signals fire on candle close — candle-type filters and 2-bar patterns apply.
Fires when price breaks out above the ORB high (+1) or below the ORB low (-1).

Skip the first N breakout signals each session (both long and short). 0 = disabled.
Skip the first N long breakout signals each session. 0 = disabled. Independent of Skip X Shorts.

CloseOutside: bar close must be outside the range (default).
Only applies when Breakout Entry Filter = CloseOutside.
Only valid for OpenCloseOutside and HighLowOutside modes.
Fires when price re-enters the range after a breakout.
When should the ReEntry signal re-arm after firing.

Fires when price returns to the ORB level after a confirmed breakout.
Distance in ticks from the ORB level within which a touch qualifies as a bounce.
Fires when price bounces off the ORB midline.
Fires when price retouches an active Fair Value Gap after an ORB breakout.
Minimum gap size in ticks for an FVG to qualify.
Maximum active FVGs to track. Oldest unfilled gaps are dropped when limit is exceeded.
Current Session Only: FVG list resets with each new trading session.
Draw extending highlight boxes for all active FVGs after the ORB window closes.
Shows arrows to mark when each OR session ends or starts.
Draws an arrow when each OR session ends, respecting its configured Session End Mode.
Draws an arrow at the start of each OR accumulation window.
If the ORB range is smaller than Min Distance Ticks, all signals show in purple with no value.
Minimum ORB range in ticks. Signals shown purple with no value if range is below this.
If the ORB range is larger than Max Distance Ticks, all signals show in purple with no value.
Maximum ORB range in ticks. Signals shown purple with no value if range is above this.
Intermediate levels (midline, quarters) and configurable take-profit targets. All exposed as plots so they connect cleanly to Predator X Order Entry's TP system.
Show the midline. Automatically forced ON when MidLine Bounce Arrows are enabled.
Defaults to 0.5 (true midpoint). Adjust to bias the midline higher or lower within the range.
Plots 25% and 75% lines inside the range. The quarter levels often act as soft support/resistance during chop.
Defaults to 0.25 (true quarter). Adjust between 0 and 1 to shift the quarter levels.
Master toggle for Target 1. Plots UniversalTarget1U above the OR High and UniversalTarget1L below the OR Low. Designed to plug into Predator X Order Entry as TP1.
OR_RR: target placed at Target1Multiplier x OR range from High/Low.
Distance multiplier when Mode is OR_RR. 1.0 = OR range above high / below low. 2.0 = 2× OR range. 0.5 = half OR range.
Fixed tick distance from High (upper target) and Low (lower target) for Target 1.
Master toggle for Target 2. Plots UniversalTarget2U / UniversalTarget2L. Use as a second TP level — common pattern: TP1 at 1.0× OR range, TP2 at 2.0×.
OR_RR: target placed at Target2Multiplier x OR range from High/Low.
Distance multiplier when Mode is OR_RR. 1.0 = OR range above high / below low. 2.0 = 2× OR range. 0.5 = half OR range.
Fixed tick distance from High (upper target) and Low (lower target) for Target 2.
Visual customization — signal arrow tags, colors, opacity, and what gets displayed on chart for each signal type.
Draws a shaded region over the ORB accumulation window for each active OR.
Opacity of the shaded ORB range background (0 = invisible, 100 = solid).

Bar highlighting, signal text size, and audio alerts. Configure how signals are visually emphasized and what sound plays when they fire in realtime.
True (default): all signal arrows are drawn on the chart.
Font size for signal labels.
True: the bar that triggered a signal has its background colored.
Multiplier applied to ATR(14) for vertical signal offset.
Background color applied to the bar when a long (+1) signal fires.
Background color applied to the bar when a short (-1) signal fires.
True: plays a sound file when a signal fires in realtime.
Path to a .wav file played when any signal fires in realtime.
