EXIT Signals – How Do They Work?
EXIT Signals with the Predator are used to identify custom Exit points from a 3rd party indicator or strategy. If you are currently in a trade and an EXIT signal is triggered, the Predator will submit a market order to exit your position.
We will not cover the specifics of the different types of signals that we can use or how to ensure you have the correct signal TAG. Please see the ‘What Signals Work With The Predator‘ section of the guide for specific details into the types of signals that we can use.
EXIT Signal Note:
In most cases, your EXIT Signal Tags should be different than your ENTRY Tags.
⤷ It is recommended to AVOID using the same TAGS for your Exit and for your ENTRY as shown above.
⤷ If you want to exit and reverse your position when another valid signal appears in the opposite direction. You should instead remove the EXIT Signals and use the REV.OPP button instead.
